Fantastic sounding moving iron cartridge bought from Mapleshade back when they carried these Soundsmith carts. This is now called the Otello from Soundsmith. Included are the brass nanomounts for decoupling from the headshell. They are glued to the top of the cartridge.
High capacitance version - Mapleshade says it sounds better this way. Acrylic body. Very very low hours. Mates perfectly with the MS-Modded Stanton turntable I also have for sale. Buyer to pay shipping and fees. Cheers and thanks for looking.

| I'm confused by the price. Soundsmith sells these new for $299.99. The SMMC-2 is $599.95. Is the listing incorrect? You are looking at the B&O cartridge currently for sale by Soundsmith. That is entirely different. This model became the Otello, which lists for $529. |
