This is a Cary Audio Designs SLP 98 preamplifier in great condition. Pictures do not do it justice. All chrome is in great condition, with no pitting or blemishes. This was a recent trade in to us from a customer trying to downsize. Came from a fully working system, preamp functions perfectly. This is a line level preamp only.

Questions for the seller
Do you accept PayPal?
no paypal, they rip sellers off. we are a brick and mortar hifi shop for more than 17 years, visa/mc only. thanks.
Does it have a remote and how old is this unit ?
No remote, approximately 11 years old. back when Cary was at their best.
buyer can pay paypal feeds, its there to protect buyer, what does a brick and mortar have to do with anything.i buy and sell hi end audio,as a buyer and you a seller should want the buyer to be protected,he should have the option to pay paypal feeds.thank you
We have accepted Paypal in the past and got ripped off many times by Paypal. We sold a $22,000 preamp and accepted Paypal and we shipped it to Italy. Paypal said it was a high risk transaction so they held the $$ for 90 days. The customer told Paypal he was happy and left us positive feedback. but Paypal still held the $$. we finally sued them and got paid, less $1500 attorney fees. more than 3 months later..... We have been selling audio for 17 years+ with no issues except for Paypal. A brick and mortar store that has been around for 17 years has a lot to do with secured transactions. There is a lot of fraud in Electronics business and many fly by night companies so a real store is a big plus for most customers. Customers who pay via Visa/MC through a brick/mortar stores are 100% protected because those cards can process a charge back if the customer is not satisfied. Paypal is a racket and we would rather not support such a business. Consumers need to be educated on buyers protection via Visa/MC/Amex. Paypal is not the only one that protects the buyer. The difference is Paypal does not protect sellers.
