Up for your consideration is a used Cary CD player w/ remote. This unit functions flawlessly, however there is a smudge on the front screen/faceplate (see picture), and a small smudge on the top cover as well.
Featuring a Phillips CDM12 transport mechanism and a pair of 24-bit/96kHz-capable Burr-Brown PCM1704u-K for the internal DAC. This CD player can operate like an outboard DAC with its separate digital input, giving it the ability to convert from another source, such as a separate music server.
This CDP got rave reviews from Stereophile in 2004, when it retailed for $3000.
This particular unit was purchased in 2003, bought brand new, one owner.
