The BOW technologies ZZ-Eight is one of the finest sounding CD players ever build. Construction is as solid as it gets with large lumps of aluminum securing a stiff, non-vibrating, structure. This unit is the original 20 bit version with stacked Burr-Brown 1702 converters and the HDCD circuit. It has serial number 1095. Condition is excellent. The BOW ZZ-Eight won the prestigious Component-of-the-Year award in Japan as well as many other awards around the world. It is certainly one of the most analog and musical sounding digital sources you can get. No remote-control included (I've lost it), but standard Philips-code remotes can be used.
