Marantz SA7-S1 CD/SACD Player

A very fine CD/SACD player, part of Marantz' Reference Line of top quality components (see Absolute Sound's great review). Metal casework throughout including the drawer mechanism (no cheap plastic). Switches for inverting phase, dc filtering, upsampling as well as three different digital filters to tailor the sound. I purchased the unit nine years ago and am the original owner. 
The unit has the complete Underwood HiFi SA7S1 Level-1 Modification. The modifications were designed by Chris Johnson, the founder and former president of Sonic Frontiers. Over 100 parts are added or replaced in critical areas. The modified version makes this already superb player a good bit better. The modified player is faster, more dynamic, has better bass control, more extended high frequencies and images better.
Good condition. A few light scratches on top and front. It works flawlessly and has never given me a moment of trouble. I now have too much gear, so it needs to find a new home.
