Great player, DAC, and preamp. Yes it has a volume control. Built to extremely high standards. This still competes with cd players well above the asking price. Plays cds and HDCDs. Great dynamics, staging, detail retrieval and transparency.
Comes with original solid aluminum remote control and original owners manual. No box, but it will be packaged well for safe travels.
Front faceplate is in perfect condition. Light scuffs on top and bottom, nothing major. Two 2"x2" "demagnetic field" plates attached to the bottom. A $160 value. Can be removed easily if desired.
