Northstar M192 Transport/Extremo Dac

This transport/DAC has been very well cared for in a smoke free/child free home. These very seldom appear on Audiogon and for good reason, they sound great! The transport is the M192 which employs the highly regarded Phillips CD-PRO2 mechanism. Jitter is extremely low especially when using the I2S digital output upsampling to 192/24. The DAC is the top of the line Extremo model 192/24. The I2S digital input allow a direct link with the M192 transport for the best sound. Both pieces are of compact design and have quality metal frames.
The Northstar transport and DAC are made in Italy and they have a beautiful sound with a deep and expansive sound stage. Instruments can be distinctly heard in their own space and the sound is never fatiguing to the ears.
I am selling these as a pair and I will include the Revelation Audio I2S cable for free. I have the remote control, the manuals, and the original boxes.
I have been a member of Audiogon since 2000, and I have great feedback. Rating 7/10 very conservative. The only reason for the 7/10 rating is a very faint mark on the top edge of the front of the DAC. It can only be seen i natural light.
