Here we have Rega's much-lauded half-width CD player/transport. Purchased on Agon 16 months ago. The 8/10 rating is a little consevative--this piece is in near mint condish.
Marked improvement in sound quality over the Marantz CD6004 which preceded it in my system. Will ship in original box, double-boxed, with power cord, remote, and manual, via UPS. Stereophile Class A Recommended--this is a pretty sweet little device.

| What is your reason for selling the R? I'm looking at the older version and the R ... very few of either available, and they are markedly different in price. Thx. Hello--selling because I'm switching to vinyl, for better or worse. I haven't heard the earlier Apollo myself but Rega seems happy with the improvements resulting in the R version. My understanding is that it would be difficult to improve on the Apollo-R without shelling out considerably more $$$. Thanks for your interest! |
