Original owner. The one and only reference Sony SCD-1 Super Audio CD Player one of the last units manufactured, built in September 2002. Unit has been modified with Vacuum State Electronics (VSE) Level 7+ (Terra Firma Lite) balanced output - $3700 (work performed by Warren Gregoire & Assoc. - VSE Agent 10/09) Transport mechanism was overhauled, Sled motor and Spindle motor replaced by Warren Gregoire & Assoc. - 06/11. This addresses the potential "disc cannot be read" problem due to the wearing of these components. Unit is in very, very good condition except for one very small nick on the top front edge of the bezel (please see attached picture) Add 3% for Paypal purchase
