Why buy from a reseller who doesn’t know the history of the piece they’re selling? I am the original owner and purchased this CD player from an authorized Theta retailer. I have kept the unit in impeccable condition and will ship it with the original remote. The gears which open the tray make a bit of noise when opening but everything functions fine. I captured this on video, let me know if you’d like me to e-mail it to you.
The Miles is a very highly regarded audiophile CD player. It has the added benefit of offering an analog variable output allowing you to plug the unit directly into an amp if desired. That’s how I used the player for much of it’s life and the performance was great.

| Can you forward me the video of the noisy drawer opening? And, have you had anyone look at it? Is there a specific reason for selling? Below is a link where you'll be able to download the video file for the next three days. No, I’ve never had anyone look at it. I’m selling this because I can no longer use it since I’ve completely changed the configuration of my system. I was previously using my Krell HTS processor which allowed for multiple inputs but I’ve removed that from my system and now just have the new OPPO Blu-ray player running directly into my multi channel amp so I just use the OPPO to play everything and I avoid using any pre amp or processor at all.
