Vitus Audio SCD-010 2008 model with 2015 Mk2 updates. LOWER PRICE.

Excellent reference CD player offering balanced and unbalanced outs as well as AES and S/PDIF digital outputs and inputs for use as a transport or DAC. S/PDIF input can accept 24/96 data, see update info below. In April 2015, it went back to Vitus for a full update including the latest transport. Everything works as if it were day one now, and it's said to be good for far longer service vs the original transport setup. Cosmetically it is nicer than a store demo model, with few tiny issues. It's a high end luxury product, and it still looks the part. Since this is originally a Mk1 unit, there's no fancy cord from Vitus, but I'll happily include a very nice Xindak FP-Gold power cable along with the player. This is a factory 115v unit. Sound-wise, well it's excellent, making toe absolute most out of any disc chosen. Even marginal mastering jobs are rendered with an honesty and detail most if not all players seem to get very wrong. This one preserves the detail, but somehow removes a lot of the ugliness, making your whole collection viable again. Of course with a good recording, it's sublime. Buyer to cover PayPal costs or pay cash upon pickup. Amazing player for around $6k!
