For sale is a pair of Silicon Arts Design / Concert Fidelity ZL-120 Monoblocks. The list price of these beauties is $28,000.00 /pair. The amps are priced to sell at $5,000 a pair plus shipping. You will NEVER find a better set of amplifiers anywhere near this price! These are the predecessor and smaller version of the ZL200s that Harry Pearson gave his Editor's Choice Award to in the March issue of TAS (review to follow). The ZL-120 is a minimalist and no compromise design with meticulous attention to detail in parts selection, layout and construction. Designed and hand built by Masataka Tsuda in Ngano, Japan, home of many precision electronic and mechanical products. Silicon Arts (Concert Fidelity) has achieved the simplest possible circuitry with the minimum number of components and no overall feedback. The latest version of these amps are now called by the "Concert Fidelity" name which was previously only used on their pre-amp and DAC. Besides the faceplate change the only other difference is that this pair has an impedance switch on the rear (20K or 100K). Sonically pure and completely transparent. Revealing yet involving.
