Bel Canto Design DAC 3.7 w/ VBL1. Mint w/ ACA Statement upgrades(price drop)

Here is a DAC you have to experience to believe. The Bel Canto DAC 3.7 w VBL1 power supply in unreal upgraded condition.. Matthew Cramer is the lead Audio Tech at Bel Canto. Bel Canto decided to end providing upgrades awhile back so through his own side business(Ace Tomato Audio) Matt has continued to perform 3 levels of upgrades. My 3.7 was given the highest level upgrade.. the Statement upgrade. $2500 complete rebuild less than 2 mths ago.. This is essentially a new 3.7 but with several higher grade parts used . Matt stripped the chassis bare and rebuilt it , listening carefully to it's sound until he was satisfied. Its sound was SO beautiful when I turned it over to Matt and it is absolutely breathtaking now. It is just now perfectly burned in. The VBL1 was also given the same upgrade including an audiophile fuse. This includes their highest grade umbilical power cord as well. .Matt also supplied me with brand new custom fit shipping boxes. Protects the units SO securely. One point of note is due to how the internal circuitry needs to be configured in the Statement Level upgrade, the rear left custom foot is not attached due to potential for the screw to make contact with the internal board due to high end feet that are used(he drills the new holes in the chassis to accomodate these wonderful anti vibration feet). The foot merely needs to slid beneath into place and the it does not move. It's a small concession for the incredible sound of the 3.7 at Statement Level . . However, Matt has offered to have me ship the DAC to him and will reinstall the internal circuitry to a new Reference Level chassis that has the stock feet(which are still very nice) and thus all 4 feet are attached. It will absolutely be the exact same level of performance but have the stock Bel Canto feet on the chassis. Personally, you will slide that foot into place and forget about it. But this will be performed if the buyer chooses free of charge. It's all about the music and it's beautiful!
