Cal Audio Labs Alpha 24/96 tube DAC rare upsampling version

Cal Audio Labs Alpha 24/96 tube DAC (digital to analog converter), hard to find version WITH the 24/96 upsampling upgrade in very good condition, conservatively rated. There is a review of this upgraded version on the Audio Asylum website which is pretty much spot on.

In great condition and working perfectly, except the original owner (I'm the second) somehow damaged the AES/EBU input jack removing the cable. This wasn't an issue to me because I always used either the coaxial or optical digital inputs, but the physical damage is just to the jack itself, which can easily be replaced if you want to connect it this way (see last pic). Comes with a pair of G.E. 5751 blackplate triple mica 5 star tubes, I believe, but I'll check to confirm this. I have used this unit in tandem for years with an Audio Alchemy DTI Pro32 (also for sale in separate ad) and it has never failed to provide great analog-like musical enjoyment. Also have a .5m Vampire Wire CCC (continuous cast copper) coaxial digital cable available, but not included. I believe I have the original box and manual for the CAL Alpha DAC somewhere in my attic, although I'll need to check to confirm this. If not, though, I'll pack securely.
