Esoteric P-05 & D-05 - SACD Transport and DAC/pre-amp, Excellent cond.

Incredible DAC and transport, very natural sounding (ie: non-digital) combo that you can listen for hours without any fatigue and yet still conveys all the details. I'm driving the power amp directly from the DAC using the built-in volume control with great result. It's cleaner & purer sounding without any loss of dynamic. This combo is in contrast with some newer DACs which sound thin and harsh/glassy... you will know the differences once you hear it.

The reason I am selling these is that I upgraded to MSB DAC.

I'm the second owner of the units for the past 3-4 years and I mainly used the DAC only, feeding from the streamer (Squeezebox Touch). I bought them locally from the original owner. There is no visible marks that I can see, but I rate them conservatively 8/10 due to age only. They function perfectly and sounds fantastic. I've the original box, manual and all the packing materials.
