Selling a clean Cuinas DAC with USB power cable as well as a wall-wart! Info on the DAC: All Ciúnas devices use an asynchronous 24/192 USB protocol which means that it doesn't rely on the computer's clock for its timing but rather has 3 discrete on-board clocks. One clock to time the USB connection & the other two to time the audio output at the most optimal point in the signal chain - just before the DAC or SPDIF converter chip. Typical USB cables carry signal & power. The wire carrying noisy USB power can interfere with the USB signalling. Some people claim that this is a digital signal & makes no difference unless there is a bit error. This is erroneous from my experience - the best formed USB signal provides the best sonics. The Ciúnas devices are self-powered & don't draw any current from the USB power wire so no interference of the USB signal occurs eliminating this concern. No need for USB cables where the power wire is outside the main USB cable. The Lithium nano Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery inside the Ciúnas devices are continually trickle charged either through a spare USB port using the supplied USB charger cable or via an external power supply - the device is still running from the clean, fast battery power. This provides a hassle-free operation - no worrying about battery operation. Using it as a portable device (without an attached charging power supply) gives about 8 hours runtime. The Ciúnas devices run natively with all Linux & Mac computers (all computers that support USB Class 2 Audio). It can be plugged into a smartphone using a USB OTG cable (On The Go) & deliver the best quality portable audio available. Although there is no headphone amplifier built-in, it will run with many headphones This DAC's reputation precedes it, besting many others at much higher price points and larger footprints.
