NAD M51 (Original Software) Stereophile Class A+

This is the "original" Stereophile Class A+ version of the M51 firmware.  I purchased new in 2012 for $1700 (i will supply the invoice).   I read reviews of the firmware upgrades and stayed with the original firmware as Stereophile tested and found the original firmware sounded better.   I had this unit as my DAC and PRE-AMPLIFIER (it is an awesome preamp with a 35 bit no loss volume control) going directly to the amps for my Martin Logans.    I have had many dacs, Conrad Johnson, Adcom, McCormack, Eastern Electric, Cambridge Audio --- the M51 is the best and lasted 5 years in my system.  The others did not last a year.     If you are looking for an awesome DAC and the original you read about in the reviews, look no further.   As you can understand, I am an audiophile, music is my hobby, and Audiogon helps me enjoy.   So it is not a business, low ball offers, non-perfect Audiogon score need not make an offer.   I have everything for the unit and all original.   As you can read from my feedback, it is a hobby to buy with confidence.    As for full disclosure, I did see a blemish that shows if you are really looking for it.   I took a picture (attached) but is really does not show unless you have the right light and are looking for it (on the center left side of the picture.  You can see it if you zoom).   I just pulled unit out of my system so it works flawlessly.    I am rating at an 8 as it is 5 years old.   Enjoy!
