Playback Designs MPS-3 CD Player / DAC in excellent working and cosmetic condition

The MPS-3 CD Player is an excellent redbook cd player with a full featured DAC with Asynchronous USB input that supports high resolution files of up to 384/24 kHz PCM and 6.1 MHz DSD through USB with either a PC or MAC.

It has the signature Playback sound which is detailed but glorious and rich sounding.

Unlike a pure DAC, the player also comes with a world-class GyrFalcon full metal single speed CD transport so it plays all you red-book cd collections as well. No need for CD ripping. The GyrFalcon transport is made by DAISy, it is one of the best CD transport available at any price.

The unit was purchased by me from Song By Singer in NYC. The unit was used briefly as a store demo before my purchase and I am the first owner. It is in perfect working condition and excellent cosmetic condition. The only cosmetic flaw is a thin hairline scratch on the back, which is almost invisible.

The CD transport has extremely low hours on it(less than 100 hours) and reads all redbook discs with no issue. The unit has been used almost entirely as a DAC, only occasional CD playing.
