I used to have the dCS Scarlatti, MSB DAC IV Plus Diamond with Galaxy Femto Clock, also tried the new Vivaldi - Trinity DAC beats them all.

Important note: This DAC used to be Dietmar's (the Trinity designer) personal DAC. According to Dietmar, this is THE BEST DAC Dietmar has ever built, with the very best selection of Burr-Brown 1704 DAC chips.

Since all of the DAC chips that end up in Trinity DACs are pre selected by Burr Brown (the highest 'K' spec), then hand picked again at Trinity (basicly making it the 'KK' spec or 'Double Crown' in Philips speak), this one is like 'KKK' or 'Tripple Crown' - it has the the best of the best DAC chips.

The DAC comes with the dedicated Trinity Drive PC server, with aprox 6TB of high res music on it, worth an estimte of $40.000 by itself. The drive itself inside the Trinity Drive is 8TB.

The DAC has XLR, RCA, TosLink and USB inputs.
