Definitive Technology BP8 Bipolar Speakers

Giving a strict 5/10 but let your eyes be the judge. The only reason I'm selling them is because they've led me to want to try some planar speakers again.

These slim bipolar towers sound exceptionally nice with a superb sense of space and lack of coloration in the midbass that lets instruments like piano sound very lifelike. Their small footprint should allow them to fit in most any room. The flash exaggerates the flaws in the socks as in normal room lighting, they aren't too noticeable though there are 2 holes near the back of one speaker. These have only been brushed down once and could be removed and washed. There is currently a seller offering brand new replacement socks for about $20 including shipping at that big auction site. You can have some exceptionally nice speakers in every regard including cosmetics. The cabinet tops have some marks which are also exaggerated by the camera flash as in normal room lighting, the speakers look good even with their flaws. The drivers are fully functional.
