Doge 8 w/ upgraded tubes

I am selling the incredible Doge 8 preamp. It has been very highly rated as the best preamp for the money currently available. It features a great sounding phono section as well. The unit is in excellent condition and operates flawlessly. It is less than two years old and used sparingly. It includes the upgraded tube package (4 X Tung Sol 12AX7 + 4 X JAN 12AT7 Tubes) and also includes the 8 stock Chinese made tubes. The following is from Arthur Salvatore's website recommending the Doge:

The Doge 8 carries the engineering prowess of the entire Doge line. The 8 tube dual mono design (4
X 12AX7, 4X 12AT7) Doge 8 with 3 power transformers leads the way to detailed sound that is not
over ripe. Three outputs are available: Two RCA- and one XLR balanced. The user selects inputs via
remote or front panel buttons. These inputs select via a microprocessor controlled gas contact relays
with gold plated contacts. The Doge 8 uses a finely matched ALPS potentiometer with a channel
balance of less than 0.3 dB. The use of 1% metal film resistors together with the finest WIMA MKP 10
polypropylene capacitors with a minimal 1% tolerance in the phono- stage are standard for the
Doge 8.

Excellent Phono Preamp
The phono section of the Doge 8 is one of its key strengths. Considered by many critics to be the
finest, most tonally neutral tube phono section currently available, the design goal of the Doge 8 was
to precisely track the prescribed RIAA equalization curves with absolute accuracy. The Doge 8
reaches this with ≤ 0.2 dB. Its supremely quiet high gain circuitry has been designed using an all
tube technology to deliver extra-ordinary performance for the broadest possible range of moving coil
and moving magnetic cartridges.

Quality Throughout
The Doge 8 represents a big step ahead, with its frequency range from 5Hz- 200 kHz and lowest
distortion down to 0,0009 %, using double layer polypropylene capacitors, selected together with a
tolerance of less ≤ 0.5 % as coupling capacitors.
