Super condition and sounds fabulous.
It has all original chassis and transformers cloth lead transformers.
The amp has been completely rebuilt using gold plated ceramic tube sockets for the output tubes/the rectifier socket and belton sockets for the driver board tubes. It has been completely rewired using stranded wire .
The Neg Bias supply has been replaced using a capboard featuring a 1N4007 diode and 100uF/100v caps for the filtering caps.
Also on the board the can cap has been replaced with 50uf/500V , 100uF /450V,100uF/450v,100uF/450v.
This is a huge increase from the stock filter can cap. The stock can cap has been left on the chassis for a stock look.
A new driver board has been installed still keeing the old original stock circuit using 7199 tubes, but has a much better quality board and larger traces.
The small caps have been installed using silver mica, MIT and ther coupling caps are K42 PIO. These PIO caps really make this amp sound fabulous.Resistors are are mix PRP audio grade, carbon film,metal oxide, NTE and Kiwame. The Kiwame have been also installed in the audio path into the power tubes.
The amp has new rca input jacks along with gold plated binding posts for the
Speaker connections. The 4 ohm and 8 ohm taps were connected. It has a new on/off switch and a new power cord.
The Output tubes are a matched quad of PM branded EL34, they look like they are Svetlana's.
The 5AR4 is an RCA branded Made in the USA tube.
The 7199’s are both branded Zenith.
All tubes test excellent.
The original cage also is included with this amp. The chassis shines very nice, all I did was to give it a light polish as not to remove the lettering. There are some minor pits
and a few small scratches, which are impossible to remove completely.
Overall it has a very nice appearance.
The amp being vintage will be sold as is . All the tubes will be removed and individually bubble wrapped and or placed in boxes.
