I did power supply mods such as IEC install, diode
rectifier upgrades, capacitor replacements, silver
wiring. I did input and output jack upgrades and
bypassing some circuitry with silver wire and cotton
tubing. I replaced all signal opamps with the best
sounding versions made by national semiconductor. I
replaced all signal coupling capacitors with rubycon
capacitors and the same with all voltage rail
capacitors as well. $700 upgrade. Updates were done by
ASI-TEK

| How long have you had the crown and can I use my own custom power cord? It has ice plug in back as you see in picture. You can use any power cord as stated in description. This update completely wiped out stock unit. We compared them then two other people had their’s updated after listening.. it was no comparison . |
