The McIntosh MQ102 Environmental Equalizers combines with ML-1C, ML-2C, ML-2M, ML-4C, ML-4M, ML-10C, XR-3, XR-5, XR-6, XR-7 or XR-14 speakers to form a complete system that can maintain flat response down to 20Hz within 1dB. No subwoofer is or was needed! The system works just as well today as it did in 1970 (http://www.roger-russell.com/ml1cpg.htm#themq102). This unit is in fantastic condition, especially given it's age. Very rare, new ones aren't being made anymore and the price for these units will only go up.
