B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) 801

For Sale is a pair of B & W 801F series 80 in Very Nice condition. I aquired these from the original owner. I will rate them a conservative 7.50 out of 10 to be on the safe side. These pair of loudspeakers have consecutive serial numbers 10099 and 10100. Included will be the original production control test sheet and the original owners manual.  Also I will include a letter from B & W and a red peel off sticker with the B & W Logo. This all came with the speakers and I will include them in the sale. The cabinets are in very nice shape with no major or minor scratches, mars, dents and this means I do not see any scratches that show from 6 inches away. There is a tiny chip on the rear left bottom edge of one of the cabinets almost missed that one. about 1\4 inch almost underneath. The fabric and grills are in great shape for their age and are just a little faded. One of the sub grills has a couple of small  imperfections. The midrange/tweeter bulkheads are in good shape just some misc. rubs and mars, One bulkhead has a 1/16 imperfection and the other bulkhead has a couple of nic on the edges. One tweeter grill is slightly pushed in, but doesn't touch or affect the tweeter. Rear bulkhead adjusting nobs are in great shape and work as intended. All the drivers are in excellent shape, The surrounds on the woofers are excellent and the speakers sound excellent.  Rear binding posts are good and tight, no loose connectors.   All in all this pair have been taken care of from the previous owner. I have used them for all types of music from Ella Fitzgerald to Dave Brubeck, from Tchaikovsky to Boston, from Elvis to The Beatles. IMHO They sound great no matter what you play them thru.
