Altec Lansing 604-8G Custom Loudspeakers

This advertisement is for a pair of custom built Altec Lansing 604 loudspeakers.

The speakers are turnkey and are fully restored. This is not a moldy project; everything is either new or professionally rebuilt to original specifications.

The drivers are Altec 604-8G, restored to original specifications by Great Plains Audio.

The cabinets are newly built by Theatre Supply to Altec 612c specifications with heavily braced marine grade baltic plywood.

The paint is Altec "battleship gray". The cabinets are utility cabinets, not furniture grade, and there are imperfections and minor cosmetic flaws throughout the finish - a few are pictured. The cabinets sit on wheeled risers (included).

I am also including the original Altec 604-8G crossovers. The original capacitors were replaced with Solen capacitors.

The speakers are located in Washington, D.C. Local pick-up is expected. If you want these shipped please arrange for freight packing/pick-up at my address and I will be available to coordinate. Shipping terms are FOB, Washington, D.C.
