Updated pricing:
Rather than negotiate pricing, I thought it would be easier to list my lowest price. It is a cash price for local pickup, so if buyers would like shipping or PayPal, it is at the buyer's expense.Overview
These are Dynaudio Sapphire speakers in the Mocca (brown) finish. They are a special edition speaker for Dynaudio's 30th Anniversary, and there were 1,000 pairs made. When reviewed, they were categorized as Stereophile Class A. I am the original owner and they are in excellent condition. I rated 8 to be conservative. I am selling to move to smaller monitor speakers. There are no known sonic problems with these speakers.
Condition
In the interest of full disclosure, there are two tiny blemishes of which I am aware on the black satin part of the speaker (which is generally not visible anyway). These are just blemishes in the finish and there is no wood damage. Both could easily be fixed with a black Sharpie. One is a tiny mark the size of a pin-prick on the side of one speaker near the bottom and you have to be within a foot or two just to see it. The other is slightly larger on the back corner. You have to be behind the speaker to see it since the front of the speaker is wider than the back. I have pictures of these. Again, these are completely inconsequential. I only noticed them when looking them over carefully for this listing and they are easily fixed. Other than these two marks, if you see something in the pictures that looks like a blemish, it is most likely a reflection -- these speakers are hard to photograph because they reflect light so easily. They have always been used in a non-smoking house using excellent amplification -- Classe, Bryston, and Pass. They have never been over-driven and have always been used with the speaker grille in place. Drivers are in perfect shape.More pictures

It would be easiest if they could be picked up locally, but I am willing to ship. I have the original crates. For local pickup, it would be best to pay with cash or we can go to a local branch of your bank and get a cashier's check, or you can wire the funds. We can also discuss other options as well.Buyers who want to use PayPal will pay the 2.9% fee (about $222). Buyers who would like the speakers shipped will pay full shipping costs and insurance for the purchase price.
Feel free to ask any questions. These are truly wonderful speakers. They just don't fit in my house anymore.
Monoblock amplifiers
Please see my other listing for Classe monoblock amplifiers that work wonderfully with these speakers. They are a separate listing, but I would be willing to discuss a package deal for the speakers and amplifiers. No questions have been asked about this item.
