Service history: I have confirmed that the speakers were checked and professionally serviced by Speaker Shop, Inc. in Amherst/Buffalo, NY in May 2014. The rep there who confirmed that they reconed the woofers and all the drivers and replaced the capacitors in the crossover. The service fee came to about $1200, so there may have been some additional refinements, but that's all Speaker Shop could access in their database. The speakers have not been removed from their box since the service, so the repairs should be pristine.

Shipping weight:
I just weighed the boxes on a bathroom scale. Weights were pretty close to my estimates, but the following will be closer to exact weights for estimating purposes. I will be rounding up when shipping to be on the safe side:
1 of 4 (2 upper units plus KUBE unit): 17 3/8" x 20" x 15" h, 48.6 lbs, rounding to 49
2 of 4 (speaker/LF enclosure 1): 22 1/4" x 17 1/2" x 33 1/4" h, 82.5 lbs, rounding to 83
3 of 4 (grills): 15.5" x 20" x 31" h, 17.8 lbs, rounding to 18
4 of 4 (speaker 2): 22 1/4" x 17 1/2" x 33 1/4" h, 95.3 lbs, rounding to 96

I'm selling a pair of KEF 107|2 (aka 107/2, 107.2, 107-2) speakers with KUBE unit and beautiful rosewood cabinets, made in England and stored in original factory boxes. My dad was a huge audiophile and these speakers sounded beautiful when they were active, but he took them out of rotation about two years ago when he upgraded to a pair of new, even higher-end speakers. At the time, he took them in to be reconed and brought back to peak condition, and they have been safe in the original factory packaging since that procedure.

KEF's original description reads as follows:
"The KEF Reference Series has, over the years, included more than its fair share of design classics. Model 107/2 represents a comprehensive revision of an already remarkable speaker, KEF's original and enormously successful, flagship Model 107. Powerful, extended bass, combined with high efficiency and reasonable size is a claim often made, but rarely substantiated. Model 107 fully justified those claims, being praised world-wide for quite remarkable bass extension, transparency and articulation, with exceptional levels of clarity and image capability in the midband. These characteristics are now further advanced by the incorporation of: a new 25mm (1") aluminum dome tweeter giving additional refinement at high frequencies; a rebalanced midrange section giving even greater resolution and accuracy in soundstaging; twin input terminals to allow bi-wiring or bi-amping; and a furtherance of the user-convenience facility derived from the inclusion of an entirely new KUBE (KEF User-variable Bass Equaliser)."

I'm not sure if the manual is in the box, but you can download the brochure and complete owner's manual at http://kef.com/html/nl/explore/about_kef/museum/1990s/Reference_Series_Model107/index.html

The pictures of the speakers themselves are a few years old, but my dad treated them impeccably and they're still in great condition. I don't want to risk unboxing all the components to double check them, but I did check the grills. Unfortunately, one of them sustained some damage to the interior support that caused a small rip in the fabric in that corner, but I have the corner piece that broke off and it would be pretty easy to cut new supports to match (but most people seem to use these with the grills off, anyway!). There's a sticker on the box from Speaker Shop, Inc. in Amherst/Buffalo, NY, so I'm guessing that's where they were serviced last.

Local pickup in Rockland County, New York is preferred. I will ship in the original factory boxes if necessary, but these are big and heavy boxes:
2 big boxes for speaker cabinets: 22 1/4" x 17 1/2" x 33 1/4" h, about 90 lbs
1 medium box for the grills: 15.5" x 20" x 31" h, guessing about 10 pounds
smaller box (2 upper units plus KUBE unit): 17 3/8" x 20" x 15" h, guessing about 40 pounds
I did a test estimate from Suffern (10901) to Denver (80123) and the cost came out to $405 on both UPS and FedEx. Insurance would be extra.
