A flawless pair of this loudspeaker set, without a single blemish, scratch, ding or imperfection. Literally cosmetically perfect. The MG-20 can be used standing directly on the floor, but Esoteric offers an optional base plate, the STD-MG20. This comprises a rectangular sheet of aluminum 15mm (0.6") thick that bolts to the base of the speaker. That $1500.00 base plate option is included with this set.

These were purchased new from Natural Sound in Framingham, Mass on 11/2/09. The retail price of an identical set in August of 2008 retailed for $10,500.00.

They use all-magnesium drivers and are fast, rhythmic and super dynamic. Tonal balance is good, the box is so slender it disappears visually and sonically and leaves a wide, deep soundstage with excellent pinpoint imagining.

Smooth and classy, a great deal to get you into the higher end of loudspeaker systems.
