New in Box pair of Revel M106 speakers. Previously listed but the buyer had to recind his bid, so I am relisting.
Come with a pair of unopened Revel factory stands. Opened one box to confirm speaker color. Beautiful cherry/walnut finish.
Note: pictures represent the speaker design but the finish is the walnut/cherry (not black)
Won at auction, never set up. I have a full surround set of these in my basement, they sound awesome. My wife has vetoed putting these in the living room.
Note2: dimensions for shipping are for 1 of 3 boxes (one for each speaker and one for the pair of stands)

| Did you or your wife personally ever get the impression that the M106 was tilted slightly up towards the bright side, treble-wise? She never listened to this pair, we didn't set them up. But, I have 4 matching pairs in my basement as part of a 7.4 system. My wife thinks they sound good. That's the extent of her comments. My opinion is that the high end is detailed and natural but not bright. But I'm using this close to the wall and without the included phase plugs, so I'm probably getting a bit more low and mid than the opposite extreme setup. This will effect the overall balance a bit, but I still don't think it would push the M106s to bright :) |
