Shindo Labs 604 alnico loudspeakers Like new [Expired]

no longer for sale

Moving overseas and need to sell my beloved Shindo system. Make sure to check out my other listings.

The Shindo 604 loudspeakers rarely come up for sale. Not very many people have heard these 604's and that's a shame. They are amazing!

Dynamics & realism is where they excel. They are single point source speakers, which gives them insanely good coherence. And because they are also horns, they just sound like live music.

Despite being physically large speakers, they do very well in small rooms. My own room is only 14' x 21' and they sound great. Shindo's own listening room where these are voiced is even smaller.

Obviously these are insanely efficient speakers. 108 dB efficient, so any amp will drive these.

I've seen people online complain that these speakers are just boring wood. The people who say that obviously haven't seen these in person. The veneer is gorgeous in person. The golden hue shimmers with just a little light and they match pretty much any decor. Your wife will love the way these speakers make a room glow.

I'll also say that these speakers are super easy to place. They are closed-back, so they don't require corner loading. And because they are ultimately horn speakers, you don't get as much side-wall reflections which keeps the low-level detail intact.

I'm sad to have to sell these, but no way I will move them overseas.

I prefer local pickup (obviously), but can *possibly* deliver them if you are near California. Alternatively, they can be professionally crated and delivered for around $1,200 in the US. Buyer will pay actual shipping costs. I may know someone who could drive them to you if the distance isn't too far (for a reasonable fee).

I prefer wire transfer, but if you need to pay via PayPal, you will need to add their 3% fee to final price.

Make sure to check out my other listings and/or inquire about the other components I will be selling.
