Sound Lab DynaStat electrostatic/dynamic hybrid speakers. These have been my reference for a while, now selling because I upgraded my speakers. Each is 72" tall, by 15" wide, and the 10" woofer cabinet at the bottom extends 19" to the rear. They are about 100 pounds each, but the cabinet separates from the electrostatic panel.

Pickup in Northern New Jersey only. The closest large town is Newark. It is about a 45 minute drive from here to New York City without traffic (but that rarely happens unless during non-rush hour sometimes, but that gives you a bit of an idea). They are in perfect working condition. The reason for their 7/10 rating is because of the baffle of the woofer cabinet, and a small blemish in the grill of one panel. This baffles are covered by the panels when they are attached to the cabinet, so you don't see it. But the method of making attaching the panels, besides four wooden dowels, are Velcro strips. These strips have been replaced a few times, and in doing so have taken some of the baffle's paint with them. Again, one does not see this when the speakers are in use. The small mark on the grille is so small it must be pointed out, but still, the speakers are priced accordingly.
I do not have the speakers connected, so I CAN NOT audition them for you. This would be useless because these speaker's behavior is idiosyncratic, that is, the room, the set-up, the power amplifier, all these are important factors to what your final sound would be. With that in mind, it is highly recommended that one power these speakers with as much solid-state power as one can afford. I am willing to give a 24 hour return, no questions asked return policy. These speakers aren't for everyone -- they take LOTS of solid-state power to drive, and need a medium to large sized room to sound their best. Go online and see photos of them, there have been others for sale and they have photos, but most know these what these speakers are about. Cashier's check, PayPal, or cash. I will not let these out of the house unless paid in full. Delivery is nearly impossible so don't ask. Thank you!

Questions for the seller
A couple of questions: How old are they? What did you use to drive them? Thanks. Howard
Hi. They are almost 15 years old. Besides the woofer baffles (which you can't see when the panels are attached they are in great condition. It is recommended that one use a high-powered solid state amp for these speakers. If the preamp has lots of gain, that's even better. At first I used a 250 Watt per channel amp, and for the last few years a 350 Wpc unit. I don't think anything below 200wpc would do, that is, unless you don't like raising the volume too much.
