My favorite speakers. Period. I am leaving the audiophile game and selling off my gear as I head to the world of less is more / casual music listening. These are the smaller versions of the double impact and they are amazingly dynamic speakers. These have all the upgrades and grills- 3 months old and ship in their original boxes with the grilles in the 3rd box. Includes floor bumpers and carpet spikes.

These have the same exact sound as the DI in a smaller cabinet - amazing speakers.

| Out of curiosity, what amp/integrated amp did you use to drive these? Hey! Drove them with a Primaluna Prologue premium (~40W) and also a Parasound Halo integrated SS (240 into 4). The Primaluna's brought out the tubey thickness where the Parasound was definitely more clean solid state with a neutral tone, so these take on the characteristics of upstream components. The 40w was PLENTY of power as I have a large two story listening room and had zero issues. |
