Thiel Audio CS-1.7 Excellent Small-Footprint Floorstanding Speaker

For sale a pair of Thiel CS-1.7 floorstanding speakers in Walnut finish.  Delicate and detailed sound, with a wide soundstage and solid base.  I purchased new in February 2014 from Gifted Listener Audio in Centreville, VA, and used lightly with electronics from Pass Labs and Boulder.  You can match with tube amps, but these speakers definitely prefer high current solid state. 

The speakers come with the original boxes, packing, spikes, etc.  Consecutive serial numbers 705 and 706.  I did not purchase the optional outriggers - these are easily available from any Thiel dealer if you decide you want them.  There are a few small marks on the lower edges of the cabinets, consistent with use.  I've shown these as best I can in the photographs; none are visible from 3 feet away and the speakers look stunning. 

Pickup in the Washington, DC area is preferred, but I will ship UPS within the continental United States at the buyer's expense.  Note that dimensions are for 1 box only (of 2).  Paypal please add 3%.
