If you’re reading this I probably don’t
have to tell you much
about Vandersteen speakers. This pair is about 7-10 years old and are
working
perfectly. I am the second owner (upgraded to the Treo CT). Ships in
three
original boxes with the original manuals and stands. Rated 8/10 since I
don’t
have the full set of spikes and touched up the scuffed sound anchors with
flat
black paint. Included is a full set of carriage bolts that have rounded
heads
instead of spiked to save your floors. The grill cloth is near
original.
No rips, tears or snags and the veneer is perfect as are the terminal
strips
and screws. Serial number 65009,65008
A comment on the color: I don’t
understand why people insist on
black grill cloth and the “furniture” look. Aren’t these supposed to
disappear
sonically? I’ve owned the 3A in Black/Oak and they were almost
overbearing
(loved the mids in that larger room though). The pictures make the
speakers
look bland but the Beige/Maple wood finish is actually a bit sophisticated in
a
Swedish way.
These have been babied in my living room
(no children, pets or
smoke), and are in perfect shape. Free local pick up (Florida). Buyer pays
shipping of three boxes. Guestimate ($100-250 to the lower 48)
