Gavin Audio Reference R10 Speaker Cables, 9'7" Pair, Spade Lugs (Part # SPK-R10-CUSTOM-SPD2-9'7"PAIR)

These cables are terminated at both ends with spade lugs with an inside fork dimension of 7.4mm. The spades and the cables have been cryogenically treated for a minimum of 48 hours at -320 F. The spades are made from a high quality bronze alloy plated with several thick layers of highly polished 24k gold on top. The cable is 99.997% pure OFHC C10100 (Oxygen-free high thermal conductivity highly refined copper with silver impurities removed and oxygen reduced to less than 0.0005%) in a twisted pair configuration. Each conductor is made up of 6 outer bundles, 59 strands each of 36AWG OFHC and 1 core bundle of 7 strands of 27AWG OFHC. Then a layer of high quality foamed polyethylene insulation (FPE) is used. DC Resistance is 0.95 Ohm/1000'. Rac @ 1KHz = 1.971mOhm/ft. Capacitance @ 1KHz = 17.5pF/ft. Inductance @ 1KHz = 0.179uH/ft. The right cable is red and the left side is carbon in color. Cable made in USA. Spade lugs made in Canada. The cables are hand assembled in the USA.

This particular pair of cables was custom made for a client (hence the odd length) but they changed their mind and decided they wanted to upgrade to a pair of cables from our Signature line instead.

All of our cables are bench tested (one last time) and the connectors/plugs are treated with DeoxIT Cleaner then DeoxIT Gold (a great product from Caig Laboratories that both improves connectivity and provides a layer of protection from oxidation, wear, or abrasion) prior to shipment.

We have a 30 day money back policy for all of our cables (buyer must pay return
shipping fees and cables must be in like new condition to avoid a restocking fee). This can always be extended if extra break/burn in time is needed for a proper audition although in most cases 30 days should be sufficient. Any cables that are returned or have cosmetic flaws will be sold as B stock.

We can also custom make any length of cable, color of cable, or connectors (analog audio, digital audio, power, speaker, etc.).
