The MC50 offers 250 watts at 8 ohms and 350 watts at 4 ohms, enough power to drive any speaker, but due to its Class "D" design, does not generate very much heat. You will read that the MC50 has a reputation for excellent bass control and providing excellent detail in music, due to its very quiet operation.
