Harman Kardon Citation V New capboard, works great

For sale is a very nice HK Citation Five tube amplifier. Old electrolytics replaced with a capboard designed by Sheldon Stokes (quadesl.com). Allows use of 6l6gc tubes without blowing them. The original 7581's are getting hard to find and expensive. Wandered resistors replaced with NOS Allen-Bradley Carbon Comp to keep it sounding original. Includes all RCA tubes except one output tube is a sylvania as my 4th tube was a bit weak and the sylvania was electrically better matched to the strong RCA's. So three RCA 6l6gc tubes and one Slyvania 6l6gc.
I cannot take pictures as my housemate went on vacation with the camera. The amp is in real good condition and looks like the others you will find pictures of. a little paint on top of the transformers is gone as all of them do from the heat. This was a project to pay for my upcoming school tuition. I see poople selling these for up to $2300 but I am not greedy and need to sell fast rather than expensive so I am setting a low price.This was a fun project to get working and I am pleased that it works well. Hooked to my Klipsch SR1's my bedroom sounds like I got free concert tickets. This vintage beast weighs 74 pounds due to those amazing transformers and a very heavy guage chassis.
