Rated 7/10 because of age and tiny nicks on the top edges and a scratch on the top toward the back of the unit. Excellent sounding unit. Huge sound stage, velvet voices, nice extended highs and solid bass. Has a nice tube quality to it. This unit beat out my beloved Krell KRC-2 preamp! I have had this in my system for about 6 years. It came to me without the remote so I purchased a Logitech remote, not included, and it worked fine. You can google the name and do some research. This unit is a gem made by the Danish company headed by Peter Holstein. The Holfi will not disappoint!
