We are one of only a handful of audio companies who manufacture their own raw wire. From the selection of precious metal casting shot, to drawing of the wire, to polishing and gold plating all fabrication stays in our family’s hands. Because of this we keep the cost of manufacturing down and can experiment with new wire styles without the huge cost of large minimum orders. If you find a need for a special wire gauge we do not offer feel free to call for a quote, you may be pleasantly surprised at the price.

You are looking at a new 1 Meter pr. of the Cryo Gold Alloy Sonnet-II interconnect. The Series II which you see in the picture offers these features:

1) A mechanical braiding machine which makes production more efficient and produces a very even repeatable braid.

    2) A carbon impregnated outer jacket which not only looks great but protects the braid from possible mechanical damage.

  3) Cardas SRCA Rhodium and Gold RCA connectors.

Each pair is constructed using 21 feet of our Gold Alloy 24ga. wire in Teflon tubing which is braided into a 3 wire configuration ( 1 for +, 2 for -) The wire is a combination of Silver, Copper and Gold. ( some have asked... no, this is NOT gold-filled jewelry wire, that wire is made of brass and has a gold overlay)

We have this wire manufactured specifically for us using our own formulation..we are the sole worldwide distributors.

The percentage of each metal used in the wire was determined regarding its particular and unique conductivity. The combination of all three metals in our percentage of distribution has a better sound than any of the single metals alone...if you know the sonic signature of our 99.990+% (4n+) Pure silver wire you know how clean, open and transparent it is, with no hint of glare or brightness. Now, the Gold Alloy wire has that same sonic character but reveals even more low-level detail. Bass is more powerful and has a naturally rounded character, the mids and top end are more liquid and stand out in an almost three dimensional relief. To use a visual description look up “ white opal” and “black opal” on the internet, as beautiful a gemstone as the white opal is, the black opal has this powerful almost hypnotic look...a deep dark background with a rainbow of color that stands out. I consider the Gold Alloy wire to be the Black Opal of wire. Because of the revealing detail, the soundstage height, width and depth is just breathtaking, and all of this emerges from an even blacker background the 99.990+% (4n+) Pure Silver wire is known for. Listening to this wire for the first time took me aback.. more of the music and all of it’s nuances were just there. With this interconnect you get pure and beautiful transparency , liquid midrange and a soundstage that rivals ANYTHING on the retail market selling for at least 3 times as much. These will take you to a level you never thought possible in a product of this price.

I fitted them last night and listened again to my favourite music. Even without burning in, an improvement was immediately evident. Acoustic solo guitar highs have now a “shimmering” quality, each singer in unaccompanied choral work is distinctly resolved, solo piano has that wonderful “bite” of the real instrument, and all traces of listener fatigue over hours of listening, have gone.
