Claimed to "mirror out distortions" hence MIT (Mirror Image Transducer).
Ensure azimuth angle is less than 1.5deg for better than 30dB channel separation, this is most improtant adjustment with this cartridge. Use the JMAS logo on front to align perpendicular to plane of record (reflection of logo should be symmetric with MIT-1 logo).
Output is rated at 0.25mV for 5cm/sec peak velocity.
Input impedence of step-up should be 5 ohm or less.
Tracking force of 2 grams, +0.25g and - nothing.
Cartridge weight is 5.5 grams.
Use in light to medium mass arm (SME III damped arm with black paddle suggested).
