Bricasti M1 DSD USB DAC with Volume Control/Remote. Open to trades.

UPDATE: I reduced it by $400 to cover the cost of the firmware upgrade (which most of you don't actually need).  It's now $2000 less than the other Bricasti listing!  Price is firm.  

Second owner.  This is actually my second M1.  I bought the first one new and for reasons unknown I sold it only to realize how more expensive DACs aren't actually as good or better.  So I bought another one soon after and it has stayed in my system for 1.5 years, which is a lifetime in my system.       
The standard version retails at $9000 and easily outclasses DACs priced above $10,000.  I've preferred it over Berkeley Reference, EMM Labs DAC2X, Schiit Yggdrasil, Ayre QB-9 DSD and, well, honestly, I don't remember the others.   

It's in excellent working condition, but I should point out some blemishes on the top plate. There are some marks, almost like light oil stains.  It's visible at only a close distance with bright lights.  I would imagine it can be removed with some kind of solvent.    

It has DSD64, but if you really think you need DSD128, then you can send it to Bricasti for a firmware upgrade ($400 fee).  The other Bricasti is listed for $7500, and there doesn't seem to be any indication as to whether it already has the latest firmware or not.
As for trades, I would be interested in tube amps and headphone amps.
