Tannoy Yorkminster SE

FOR SALE: I never thought I'd be selling these but I have way too many speakers and am exploring more and more DIY options.
I bought these about 2 years ago from Audio Eden.  When I auditioned them for purchase I listened to these and a pair of Kensington GR's back to back with the same gear. It was no contest, the low end was far more palpable and realistic and the mids were richer and sweeter as well. I wanted to like the Kensingtons more as it would have saved me about 3K but I couldn't do it. I think they are the sweet spot in the prestige lineup only bettered by the Westminster, and who has that kind of room??!! They do go quite a bit lower than the Canterbury but otherwise have the same sound signature. This is borne out by what I heard in the room at the audio show. Audio by Mark Jones had the new Canterbury powered by kilobucks of SS electronics but my room at home with the Yorkminsters sounded better to my and my friends ears. I used these with 845 monoblocks and found it to be a stellar pairing.
When I bought these Tannoys they got me off of the speaker merry go round. All genres of music sound great with these speakers, they truly are a music lovers speaker. They are still revealing but are very musical and the way they image and soundstage is rivaled only by panels. But they will hit you in the chest with incredible impact, unlike panels. Pretty much the best of both worlds, I will never look at another brand of speaker.
I did find one mark that is a dent in the veneer that is a quarter inch long. My last 2 pics show this, you cannot see it if your head is more than 2 feet away. Otherwise they are in mint shape and have been in my dedicated, non smoking listening room with no pets.
I will allow a buyer to arrange for shipping if they arrange a company that will come and pick them up and take care of it. Unfortunately I do not have the original boxes so that will have to be dealt with by the shipper.

I have much more perfect feedback on Canuck and the only negative I've ever received here was due to winning an auction and not knowing it after my email had changed. 
I'm open to partial trades of interesting, analog items. Let me know what you have.
