One owner pair of Rosewood PBN Montana EPS speakers (serial number 99096). Purchased new from Audio/Video Salon in 2006 and lightly used in an apartment (so you know they were never played loud). No original box or manual so pickup by you the customer is required - speakers available for inspection prior to payment if you desire or we can hold payment until you approve condition prior to removing them. Speakers are on East 85th Street, New York 10028. We may consider trade-in on these also but we cannot ship - PICKUP ONLY.
REVIEW - STEREOPHILE
The Montana's made music with an effortless quality that made prolonged listening sessions an unquestioned necessity. I have heard plenty of good systems and lots of good-sounding loudspeakers, but apart from Sonus Faber's $18,000/pair Amati Homage, none filled me with raging lust like these did. I liked the EPS enough that when it came time to ship them out for measurement, I inquired about buying a pair — the ultimate endorsement!!!
With my score card filled with an overwhelming preponderance of "excellent"s, the Montana's [under $10,000] price tag makes it not merely a good deal, but a freaking bargain.
