NAIM ARO TONEARM RARELY OFFERED FOR SALE! HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER !

For sale is the sought after, no longer in-production Naim ARO tonearm serial # 55819 which per the NAIM database puts its manufacture date as 1989.  I've had it for 28 years and I don't really want to part with it - but I will with the right offer.  Art Dudley in the Feb 2017 issue of STEREOPHILE said that the NAIM ARO would be first on his TOP TEN LIST OF AUDIO PRODUCTS I WISH WERE STILL IN PRODUCTION.  Per Mr. Dudley, "the ARO was, by a not-inconsiderable margin, the best-sounding tonearm I've ever used on an LP12." I don't disagree.  I originally had a Linn arm on it and their was no comparison.  The ARO is in fine condition. Smoke free home.  It's used. When I bought it - a demo model - it had a little scuff on the top of the head shell (you can see it in a photo.) It has a little circle mark where the third screw for the originally mounted Linn Troika cartridge was installed.  Other than that, it is in very good shape.  It's 28 years old but functions perfectly.  

This is the cost of an extra arm top to mount another cartridge (a mono Lyra!) and is easily switchable...

I have the original boxes for it but the little tracking force gauge is missing. All the other mounting parts are there (the tonearm collar, tonearm rest, etc. are currently still mounted on a Linn LP12 (pictured.)   It currently has a DYNAVECTOR XX2 MK2 cartridge installed which you will see in the photos but it is not for sale.
