Premium R-2R AD1865-based DAC with tube analog stage

Up for sale is a truly high-end Non-Oversampling R-2R DAC based on the legendary AD1865 chip with superb analog tube output stage in single-ended configuration and 6h30 tubes.

If you are a die-hard Redbook, non-DSD fan, this one can't be beaten.

Digital board is simply the best ever AD1865 design. Lots of inputs: Coaxial, USB, AES, Optical. The USB input is the famous Amanero. One thing special is the Amanero is powered by separate power supply, instead of dirty USB power. This DAC can run up to 24-bit, but for best performance, I'd suggest standard Redbook files, 16-bit/44Khz. The Digital board is powered by ultra-fast shunt regulators, all SMD Vishay MELF resistors. The AD1865 chip is genuine, directly from Analog Device. It is almost impossible to source for genuine chip these days. After trying a whole bunch of Delta-Sigma and ES9018 DACs, I came to the conclusion that R-2R chips are vastly superior in sound.

The power transformers are all custom made, with sealed epoxy and electrostatic layer to improve noise canceling

The analog output stage is single-ended based on the Electro-Harmonix 6h30 tubes. Truly analog-like sound, no more digital harshness. The power supply is Salas shunt style with all film capacitors, no electrolytic caps in signal path. Everywhere are Solen MKP and UK-made Ansar Capacitors. The resistors are all Vishay and IRC 1% metal films.

The output capacitors and bypass are V-Cap CuTF (Copper Foil Fluoropolymer Film)
