Audeze LCD-X brand new ** SECOND REDUCTION **

The LCD-X are well-known and well-reviewed. These are the latest version, purchased April 2017.

Remarkably, these are very efficient as well, presenting a benign load.. I have seen remarkably crisp, warm sound (considering) from my iPhone 6. Try *that* with any other statement-level planar headphone.. :)



I have driven them primarily with PS Audio DirectStream Jr driving Woo Audio WA-6 SET headphone amp (an intoxicating combo that makes the hours disappear). This is an extremely full-bodied, physical, highly-resolving experience with an almost overwhelming musicality as well as the ability to easily distinguish upstream optimizations: changes due to power filtering, cables, stands, etc., are more easily identified than perhaps any other equipment I've had.
DSD128 through this combo is just about as amazing as I've heard through any system anywhere ever.

Point being: they reward and easily differentiate high-resolution upstream components, but nearly anything will drive them to loud listening levels.



I purchased these new in April 2017. They were a bit of an impulse purchase and I am selling to make upgrades to my two-channel system. I'm lucky to have absolutely no domestic constraints - and as such headphone listening just isn't a priority for me. I'm not buying any other headphones. 

These are perhaps not even broken in.. They have maybe 16 hrs of listening on them. They are cosmetically perfect and indistinguishable from new. I have the original purchase receipt, all of the original boxes, manuals, single-ended and balanced cables, and the crazy, overbuilt pelican case they come in.    
These are a solid 10/10 Mint according to the Audiogon rating scale. Indistinguishable from new.
