As new dealer demo with full manufacturer's warranty.  Simply stunning visual design with a smoked translucent front panel, and laser engraved brushed aluminum top and side panels.
Pagoda is MHDT Labs top of the line Non-Oversampling (NOS) R-2R Resistor Ladder DAC using the legendary Burr Brown  PCM1704's in a dual DAC array.  To quote TNT Audio -- "The PCM1704 chips have developed an almost cult status, and have been used in many boutique DACs. They are no longer in production, apparently requiring a production method that is difficult and expensive. If supplies can be found today, the price for one of the chips is in excess of $70 US dollars. MHDT tell me that they have adequate but not infinite stocks of the PCM 1704."
MHDT Labs is one of the under the radar gems in the hi-fi manufacturing industry.  Their extremely musical sounding tube buffered NOS R-2R DAC's  are among the very best values in today's high-performance digital playback arena.
The Pagoda DAC is capable of up to 24bits/384kHz (depending on OS) digital signal input, and incorporates the legendary Burr Brown  PCM1704 DAC chips in it's R-2R digital to analog output design.
Asynchronous USB input section, and three additional digital inputs; BNC, Coax RCA and Toslink.
The 4 digital inputs are independent to each other, controlled by tact switches on front panel.
If you are a "sound first" hobbyist, the sonics of the DAC will blow your mind at this price point.  A truly realistic, yet very natural sounding DAC.
