Dual rear anchor braces, all mounting hardware, cones and manual.

Condition: 

Near mint. The wood trim tops and bottoms appear brand new with no chips or scratches.  The mesh is perfect throughout with the exception of a small indentation on one speaker which did not penetrate the material.   One of the plastic isolation plates on the back of the other speaker has snapped off.  This issue is incidental since the remaining plates are still in place to safely isolate + from - wiring. (Pls see pics noting that any other blemishes you may observe are due lighting.)

Sound: 

The 3A Signatures operate with the exact same precision and performance levels that one would expect from a Vandersteen designed speaker fresh out of the box.  They sound incredible!

Note: These are Vandersteen Model 3A Signature speakers NOT Vandersteen Model 3A speakers.  Huge difference.

The 3A Signature grew out of the work done during the development of the heralded Vandersteen Model 5 which lists for $31,000. The differences between the Model 3A vs. 3A Signatures are:

-all critical capacitors and resistors in the crossover are upgraded and replaced with the same quality parts used in the Model 5 crossover                                  

-additional bracing is installed in the bass enclosure

-the Signature utilizes the same tweeter as the Model 5 and the tweeter crossover is upgraded and modified accordingly

-phase compensating networks, separate from the crossover, are installed for the mid-bass and mid-range drivers and are then hand tuned for each speaker, so the speakers are paired sonically and literally complement one another.  Source: Sound Stage review

Shipping:

Items ship in 3 boxes. The speakers ship in their original protected Vandersteen containers.  The third box will contain the rear speaker tower anchor braces, hardware & cones which I have already securely boxed.  In addition, I will purchase shipping insurance to cover both buyer and seller as transactional back up.  Processing fees to be paid by purchaser. (Approx 2.7-3%).
