I bought this a couple months ago to use with a pair of active speakers I was planning to buy. Now that I have decided not to pursue active speakers, I no longer need this exceptional preamplifier. I let it burn in driving my ATC P1 Amplifier and ATC SCM40’s and it sounds great the 12au7’s are easily accessible and are a fun tube to roll due to their relatively low cost. This preamplifier was originally purchased through Quest for Sound. Conservatively rated 9/10 as I may not have every single piece of plastic wrap it came in. It will be securely packed.
Ships with remote, manual, original tubes, and the original box.
The New RHUMBA 1.2: Improvements Over the 1.1

6. New Silk II circuit in gain stage and regulator
7. Ceramic tube sockets

Like the $7,500 Rhythm 1.1, the new Rhumba features a convenient tube access door, which allows easy tube changes without tools. The new unit also features the company’s patented GreenForceTM power supply. Other features carried over from the Rhythm 1.1 include the luxurious remote volume control, mute function, balance control, REC OUT jacks, toroidal transformer and IEC inlet to allow users to experiment with power cords.
The new model is single-ended. Built in the U.S., its silver face plate and black chassis are machined for Backert Labs in Pennsylvania.
